Terms of use
The basic rules for using Aonfinn. Plain English, and short on purpose.
What Aonfinn is
Aonfinn is an early-stage platform from 4M Controls Ltd for designing, monitoring, and improving hybrid marine power. Some parts are still being built, and things may change as we go.
Your account
Access is by invitation. Keep your sign-in details and two-factor security to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
Using it properly
Use Aonfinn for its intended purpose and within the law. Don't try to reach other companies' information, disrupt the service, or break the security that keeps everyone's data separate.
Your information
The work you put into Aonfinn stays yours. We handle your information as set out in the Privacy page.
How we use your data
By using Aonfinn you grant 4M Controls a licence to use your data — including combined and derived data — to run and improve the service and our products, such as our forecasting models. We do this with aggregated, anonymised data, handled in line with the Privacy page.
Keeping your data separate
Your workspace is private to your company — we don't show one customer's data to another. 4M Controls can see your specific workspace only if you switch on access for us, and you can switch it off at any time. Any product improvement we do uses only combined, anonymised data, never your raw data shown to anyone else.
Availability and accuracy
We work hard to keep Aonfinn running and its numbers sound, but at this stage it's provided "as is". The cost-benefit figures are estimates to inform a decision, not a guarantee of results. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Liability
As far as the law allows, 4M Controls Ltd isn't liable for losses arising from your use of an early-stage service. Nothing here removes rights you have that can't be signed away.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms as Aonfinn develops. We'll flag material changes.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
